The “International Piano Competition for Young Pianists Kronberg” should also be a place of encounter and understanding in addition to the competition idea.
We as organizers “International Piano Competition Taunus e. V.” are very pleased to be guests at the Casals Forum!
The Casals Forum
The Casals Forum, newly built by the Kronberg Academy and opened in September 2022, offers musicians and audiences alike exceptional acoustics, facilities and atmosphere.
The famous cellist and humanist Pablo Casals is the namesake of this forum, who was particularly committed to peace and freedom. “Music, this wonderful universal language, should be a source of understanding among all people” – this deep conviction of Casals in the connection between art and humanity is expressed in this forum.

The Rooms
The competition will take place in the Carl Bechstein Hall (around 150 seats) and the prizewinners' concert in the large Chamber Music Hall (around 550 seats).
