Organizing an international piano competition for the first time—especially one for children and teenagers—is always a special challenge for the organizers. After all, every new event has to make a name for itself first.
The success of our preparations has not gone unnoticed by the public or by the representatives of our state of Hesse. We were therefore delighted to learn that, thanks to our results so far, our preparations have earned the recognition of policymakers—and thus of the public—even before the actual event takes place.
Mr. Boris Rhein, the Minister-President of the State of Hesse, has agreed to serve as the patron of our competition and has already sent us a message of greeting, which I would like to share with you.
