We can look back on a fantastic year: our International Piano Competition for Young Pianists Kronberg, held for the second time in March 2025, has established itself as a major international competition!
The competition made a huge international impression with talented musicians from all over the world performing at the highest level. We were deeply touched by the overwhelmingly positive feedback from the participants and their families, who said that our competition is unique in its concept, organization, and atmosphere.
After the competition, two master classes and five follow-up concerts took place, which in turn reached countless music enthusiasts. We have achieved our goal of organizing a competition with international appeal that also provides regional and national impetus and makes a difference. In 2026, two further concerts will be held as part of the Weilburg Castle Concerts and Tidal Concerts, as well as a master class in Vienna and a professional audio and video production.
In 2026, we will continue our fundraising efforts, which we have already begun. In the summer of 2026, we will announce the special prizes for our third event from April 2 to April 4, 2027, and then it will be time to get started:
On October 1, 2026, registration will open and we will once again invite talented musicians from all over the world to apply for our digital preliminary round and, if accepted, to experience an unforgettable and inspiring competition in Kronberg.
