Current
Starting now, you can browse our website to your heart’s content—the website has been updated with all the details and information regarding our “3rd International Piano Competition for Young Pianists Kronberg,” taking place April 2–4, 2027!
Since our basic concept has been so successful, we haven’t changed anything about it. What is new is that, according to the repertoire requirements for Working Groups V, VI, and VII, one piece must be from the Baroque or Classical periods. The special prizes for this competition will be announced in the summer of 2026.
Our new“Follow-Up Concerts”page, located under the “Winners’ Concerts” menu item, provides an impressive overview of our numerous post-competition activities—including photos, reviews, and comments from participants—which can also be found on our archive page. Let yourself be swept away by the charisma and passion of our young talents!
Inspiring
On September 9, 2025, Yuewen Yin (15, NL), Raffaello Giannini (14, BE), and Felix Wu (18, DE) wowed the audience at the second Art & Music concert. They captivated the spellbound audience with works by Haydn, Beethoven, Chopin, Liszt, and Debussy. Their virtuosity, expressiveness, and musical maturity earned them thunderous applause. Like all the other follow-up concerts, this one was hosted by our Artistic Director, Ulrike Danne-Feldmann.
Taunus Sparkasse provided a fantastic setting at its headquarters in Bad Homburg and left nothing to be desired, both in terms of organization and cuisine. We would like to express our heartfelt thanks for the wonderful collaboration!
An equally big thank you goes to Dr. Dildei and his “Barbara and Dr. Hans-Werner Dildei Art and Culture Foundation”! It is he who, with his passion for the arts, brings people together through the “Art & Music – Encounters” events he initiated. The combination of art and music—the sensory experience of hearing, seeing, and feeling—is truly awe-inspiring and makes for a special experience at “ ganz ”!
The two artists, Andrew Friedrich and Oliver Czarnetta, exhibited their impressive paintings and sculptures.
On October 24, 2025, another “Art & Music” concert will take place in Oberursel for invited guests.
