We’ve had a fantastic year: with its second edition in March ’25, our “International Piano Competition for Young Pianists Kronberg” has established itself as a major international competition!
The competition made a major international impression with talented musicians from around the world performing at the very highest level. We were deeply moved by the overwhelmingly positive feedback from the participants and their families—according to them, our competition is unique in its concept, organization, and atmosphere.
After the competition, two master classes and five follow-up concerts , which in turn reached countless music lovers. We have achieved our goal of organizing a competition with international appeal that also provides impetus and makes a difference at the regional and national levels. In 2026, two additional concerts will be held as part of the Weilburg Castle Concerts and the Gezeitenkonzerte, along with a master class in Vienna and a professional audio and video production.
In 2026, we will also continue the fundraising efforts we have already begun. In the summer of 2026, we will announce the special prizes for our third event, taking place April 2–4, 2027, and then it’s time to get started:
On October 1, 2026, registration will open, and we once again invite talented individuals from around the world to apply for our digital preliminary round and, if accepted, to experience an unforgettable and inspiring competition in Kronberg.
We sincerely wish you all a happy, healthy, and musically fulfilling 2026!
