Surprises

Over the past few months, we’ve been busy as Easter bunnies: we’ve secured funding for the competition and further expanded our network. Our goal is to expand the competition over the next two years to include numerous concerts and projects—initiatives that support our highly talented pianists and bring music to the heart of society.

To this end, we would like to organize piano concertos with orchestra, chamber music, and music education projects. Such diverse formats showcase music in all its beauty and enrich young musicians, audiences, and society alike.

Just in time for Easter, we’re delighted to serve you some deliciously filled surprise eggs!

SURPRISE EGG No. 1

We won’t reveal everything just yet, but as part of a partnership with a renowned concert promoter, we’ve organized two orchestral concerts, each featuring a piano concerto. Appropriate compensation, including expenses, is guaranteed. We’re really looking forward to it and can’t wait to see who wins this extraordinary special prize!

SURPRISE EGG No. 2

Since the host of our 2025 Winners’ Concert was only available for that specific concert from the outset, we began our search and found a new host for our Winners’ Concert on April 4, 2027.

There you go—look forward to the wonderful Bastian Korff from Hessischer Rundfunk, who has also made a name for himself as a musical cabaret artist!

SURPRISE EGG No. 3

Music education, as an artistic and pedagogical practice, builds bridges of communication between people, music, and artists. We are particularly committed to inspiring the next generation to appreciate classical music and opening up ganz worlds for them through “Children Play for Children” concerts.

Get a taste of what’s to come with this preview of our third edition, taking place from April 2 to April 4, 2027, at the Casals Forum in Kronberg—a celebration of music that opens hearts, nurtures talent in a unique way, and highlights cultural diversity.

We wish you a Happy Easter!
