From Weilburg to Kronberg: Special Rates for 2025 and 2027

Together with our young talents, we embarked on a special journey filled with music and emotion in June at the Weilburg Castle Concerts and, more recently, during the presentation of the Ton & Video Pro Special Award in the Carl Bechstein Hall of the Casals Forum— ganz !

Weilburg Castle Concerts, “Music of the Future”

Linda Yuan from Germany, Raffaello Giannini from Belgium, and Stefan Szypura from Switzerland enchanted the audience at the Obere Orangerie in Weilburg with musical worlds ranging from Mozart to Chopin, Liszt, and Schumann, all the way to Prokofiev, Scriabin, and Stravinsky. It was a resounding success that deeply moved the audience and sparked sustained, enthusiastic applause. The virtuosity and artistic expressiveness of these young pianists, aged 13 to 16, along with their audible and visible passion for music and their artistry, captivated the large audience—a truly memorable experience for everyone involved! A big thank you to Clemens Mohr and his team at the Weilburg Castle Concerts!

“Ton & Video Pro” Special Award

On August 26, 2026, we were delighted by yet another highlight of our special awards: Yejune Chae from South Korea had won the Sound & Video Pro Special Prize in 2025 as the first recipient in Category VII; this prize was now brought to life in the Carl Bechstein Hall of the Casals Forum under the expert guidance of our competition’s sound and video technicians, Heiner Kunkel and Clemens Hörlbacher. Yejune had chosen “Miroirs” (“Mirror Images”) by Maurice Ravel, one of the most famous works of French Impressionism.

The poetry, timbres, brilliance, and breathtaking virtuosity that Yejune brought to life in the five pieces of the cycle immersed the Carl Bechstein Hall in a mesmerizing sea of sound. Enchanting, thrilling, and incredibly vibrant, Yejune captivated everyone in attendance and later said, together with her mother:

We never realized what a great blessing it would be for us to have participated in the Kronberg Competition! We are truly grateful for everything!

Once the video is released, we’ll definitely promote it. Until then, enjoy both highlights of our fantastic talents’ game on Instagram or Facebook, along with interviews, Reels, and plenty of behind-the-scenes footage!
