With the fantastic concert grand pianos from C. Bechstein, we offer our young talents just such an experience! A C. Bechstein Concert D 282, perfectly tuned to the first-class acoustics, awaits them both in the Carl Bechstein Hall, the venue of auditions, and in the large chamber music hall of the Casals Forum.

Carl Bechstein Foundation
C. Bechstein is not only known for building excellent instruments, but also for promoting piano music and piano playing across the board, supporting talented musicians, a unique collection of historical keyboard instruments of international standing and much more. The non-profit organization founded in 2012 Carl Bechstein Foundation has already provided 250 pianos free of charge to elementary school across Germany. It supports piano competitions, initiates the annual Carl Bechstein Competition itself and is committed in many ways to spreading piano music and giving people access to this unique and wonderful world. We are very grateful to receive financial support from the Carl Bechstein Foundation! In addition, C. Bechstein's concert technician, Burkhard Loock, will be present throughout the competition and will provide the best possible support for all instruments.
