Spring is in charge!

Dear music lovers,

We all know that no matter how cold, windy and dark the winter was, it is inevitably followed by spring, which enriches our lives with new feelings, ideas and, above all, light! Preparations for the next edition of the "International Piano Competition for Young Pianists Kronberg" from 21.03.2025 to 23.03.2025 are in full swing!

All texts on the website are now updated and invite you to browse!

We are delighted to once again have Prof. Matthias Kirschnereit, Prof. Christian A. Pohl, Prof. Claudia Schellenberger and Ulrike Danne-Feldmann, our Artistic Director, as jurors.

The MediaKit for supporters & sponsors is now ready and available to all interested parties(>>to the MediaKit).

Registration is open from 01.10.2024 to 11.01.2025. As in 2023, the registration fee will be €30.

The course of the 2025 competition is also similar in many other respects to the first event in 2023.

However, we will continue to expand our special prizes in order to promote young pianists even more comprehensively. Look out for surprises on the website in the coming months!

Our prize money has also changed as follows:

AG I - II:

1. Prize: 500 €
2. Prize: 300 €
3. Prize: 200 €

AG III - V:

1. Prize: 750 €
2. Prize: 500 €
3. Prize: 300 €

AG VI - VII:

2. Prize: 750 €
3. Prize: 500 €

It is a great honor for us that Minister President Boris Rhein is once again the patron of our second competition. We are delighted to have his support, which makes our competition stand out in particular.

We wish you all a good time!

Best regards

Your International Piano Competition Taunus e. V.
